Who We Are

Stephanie Cecchini was born and raised in Putnam County, NY. She began drawing at an early age. “I remember giving my drawings to my grandparents, they would hang them on the fridge, I felt so proud.” As Stephanie became older, she took classes at the local art center and took every art class in high school that she could. “From the first moment that I picked up a pencil, art has always made me feel so calm and connected with myself.” Stephanie continued pursuing her art career at SUNY New Paltz,where she majored in painting and graduated in 2000 with a degree in Fine Art.In 2001, Stephanie returned to school at Westchester Community College,for a degree in Graphic design.She thought this may be the way to go, in the way of an art career, but she still felt such a strong pull to her true passion, drawing, and painting. In 2002 Stephanie finally found what she had been looking for, a way to incorporate her fine art into a career that she had only dreamt about, tattooing. She did a two-year apprenticeship at Iron Butterfly Tattoo in Mahopac, NY, and has been tattooing ever since. Stephanie specializes in realism; she also enjoys the challenges that cover-ups bring as well. “I truly enjoy the process of tattooing, from the moment the client walks in the door until I wrap the tattoo up. Bringing a client’s idea of life is truly an amazing thing. I have a chance to connect with all different people and to hear their stories about what led up to the very moment of why they are in my chair. I feel truly blessed that I have my dream job and I definitely cannot picture myself ever doing anything else.”

Moira is an artist born and raised here in Goshen NY. She has been apprenticing under Stephanie here at Lady Luck Studio since April 2022. Moira graduated from SUNY Orange with a degree in visual communications in Spring of 2021. She considers herself a friend to all living creatures as well as a lover of all things cute and creepy. Moira loves any form of creating, especially painting and drawing!

My name is Sam and I am a body piercer here at Lady Luck! I’ve been passionate about body piercing since I was a little girl. They’ve always been so beautiful to me. They help me feel empowered and confident in my own skin, and I strive to help others achieve that same feeling of empowerment and comfortability I’ve experienced through piercing. As soon as I discovered my passion, I knew I wanted to help others achieve the look they desire for themselves through decorating the body with jewelry. It takes jumping through mental hoops to build the courage to get that piercing or body mod you’ve always wanted, so it’s important to go to someone that makes you feel comfortable and calm. It should be a good and educational experience. In my opinion, Getting a new piercing or tattoo is empowering! It’s fun to decorate our temples with things that make us smile. I aspire to inspire people to not let fear drive the bus. Do whatever makes you happy in life, this is your journey after all!
